
Lisa is a certified Level III Reiki Master in Traditional Japanese Reiki known as Usui Reiki. Lisa has also been a student and teacher of yoga and meditation since 1997. After earning her 200-hour certification in the Atma tradition, she also earned her 300-hour certification from Heartsong Yoga and Beryl Bender’s The Hard & The Soft Yoga Institute, as well as Prenatal Yoga certification and on-going trainings and workshops for continuing education.
In 2007 I was diagnosed with a very challenging health issue, which prompted me to try Reiki as an alternative, complementary therapy. I never forgot how relaxed and at ease I felt after my sessions, and always knew that I wanted to share that experience with others.
Reiki can be translated as “universal life energy”. It is a safe and gentle form of healing done fully clothed using either light or no touch to guide energy within a person’s body. Reiki has been known to encourage reduction in stress, pain, anxiety, and fatigue. It can improve sleep, speed healing, enhance mental clarity, as well as promote a sense of calm and inner peace.
