Stacey has over 25 years of movement experience as a certified yoga teacher, Pilates Trainer, MELT Method Instructor and Licensed Massage Therapist. She received her primary Yoga training under the mentorship of Rodney Yee at the Piedmont Yoga Studio. While living in Northern California for 17 years she had the opportunity to study with many senior Yoga teachers in a variety of traditions. Her classes and massage integrate many modalities.
As a Massage Therapist, she incorporates a wide range of techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, energy and breath work. She completed an additional specialized 200-hour training in Orthopedic Manual Therapy with Dr. Thomas Hendrickson D.C. in Emeryville, CA. This technique helps to restore function, improves movement patterns and alleviates pain and discomfort.
Since moving to Massachusetts, she completed an additional 500-hour certification with the Hard and The Soft Yoga Institute under the mentorship of Beryl Bender Birch and continues to grow as both a Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor.
