Susan Moore, MSW, Registered Craniosacral Therapist, IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist
Susan is a craniosacral therapist specializing in working with chronic pain, auto-immune disorders, and trauma. She spent her girlhood in the woods of Minnesota, exploring the countryside on the back of a horse, and this deep connection to nature taught her to trust the truth and wisdom of the body. Susan first trained as a Physical therapist Assistant, working in orthopedic outpatient settings for a decade. This time taught her much about the Western model of health and healing as she also witnessed the ways that physical pain, injuries and dysfunctions include mind and emotions. Her explorations in the field of mind/body led her to yoga. She went on to become a yoga teacher and earned the certification of IAYT Yoga Therapist. In 2024 Susan completed a Master’s in clinical social work. Her unique blend of experience allows her to meet clients and students where they are most comfortable. Healthy aging is a passion, as Susan understands how we must accept and adapt to our ever-changing circumstances. She has a special interest in working with trauma, having experienced firsthand it’s deep impact on the nervous system and how physical health, vitality, and sense of self are compromised. Susan offers private sessions in craniosacral and yoga therapy in Easthampton and Longmeadow MA. She is an instructor at The Massage School and is a Yoga Teacher Trainer at Nirvana Yoga, where she also leads community classes.
